I love reading The Onion, The A.V. Club, and McSweeney's. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with all three, but I do my very best. Yesterday was my "Catch Up on McSweeney's Articles Day" and I stumbled upon these two treasures:
"The Ultimate Guide to Writing Better Than You Normally Do." by Colin Nissan is an article that all my fellow writers will surely appreciate: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/the-ultimate-guide-to-writing-better-than-you-normally-do
"A Memo to the New Employee About Parking." by Seth Reiss is absolutely hilarious: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/a-memo-to-the-new-employee-about-parking
These articles won't take you long to read. But even if they did, it'd still be worth it.
Fiction, poetry, and all that good stuff . . .
